Throughline is an interdisciplinary showcase produced by members of BAX’s TALL Council. It features a spectrum of original work by young artists and artists who are in the early stages of their career (ages 15-25). This unique production invites performers and visual artists to share works-in-progress, participate in an artist talkback and network with fellow artists and art appreciators. Throughline 2016 will feature 19 emerging visual and performance artists.

The TALL Council is a free and youth-led leadership community of engaged, ambitious and motivated teen artists eager to deepen their engagement with the performing arts. The Council produces an annual showcase in the BAX Theater featuring new and original performance works by artists ages 15-25. Throughout the year, the Council organizes teaching and learning workshops and open studio shares with professional guest artists. Membership to the TALL Council is open to middle school through recent college graduate age artists. The Chair of the TALL Council is Nasrene Haj, BAX Alumna, and Director/Founder of the Creators Collective.
