MIL’S TRILLS is an interactive series of live performances for grown-ups with babies and toddlers aged 0-5. Led by Amelia Robinson who plays original, quirky and whimsical songs on her electric ukulele and hosts a rotating cast of musical guests. Each show highlights a new, often rare, instrument, inventive activities, Q and A for the adult mind, and a hand-selected book that is brought to life through an improvised soundtrack. Mil’s Trills is founded on a cooperative effort to support local businesses and artists in the community and to make music accessible to all.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
AMELIA ROBINSON is pianist/vocalist who has appeared at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, on Broadway, and around the world in London, Qatar, Europe, Australia, Kazakhstan, Israel and New Zealand with her electric ukulele. As a composer she has worked with award winning British composer Michael Nyman, the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) and written/conducted The Cycle Symphony (Time Out London‘s Critic Choice), an interactive performance for full orchestra accompanied by massed bicycle bells that premiered at the East End Film Festival after the Royal Wedding on 2 May, 2011.
On the frontier of the explosive ukulele resurgence in Great Britain and the United States, Amelia has performed at The Edinburgh Festival Fringe,The Ukulele Festival of Great Britain, The New York Ukulele Festival, the Troubadour, Spitalfields Market, the Brighton Fringe Festival and appeared on BBC Radio One. Amelia continues to share music with audiences worldwide.
