I would like to thank the TPW families for supporting their amazing young artists. I would like to thank Helen Tocci for being the guiding light with the vision to create AcroBax, without which there would be no TPW. I would like to thank Lucia and Joie for all of their support, guidance and unfailing commitment. And thank you Marya Warshaw for creating the fertile ground which is BAX, where the sprouting and the seasoned can hone their skills of creativity.

About the Programs

Tumbling Performance Workshop (TPW)

TPW was established for tumbling artists who are eager to further hone and integrate their technical, performance, and improvisation skills over a full year of dedicated study. TPW explores group-directed themes and choreography, developing and performing original movement-based acrobatic work. Admission is by invitation.

AcroBAX

Drawing on contemporary circus traditions and theatrical techniques, AcroBAX is BAX’s most advanced tumbling class, combining modern dance, partner acrobatics, performance, and choreography skills. AcroBAXers work closely as an ensemble, developing and performing original group pieces inspired by different annual themes. Admission is by invitation.
