Special Thanks from the Directors

From Oscar Trujillo:

Special thanks to Lucia, Joie and Nadia for their support of this DPW newbie. A big gracias to Donna and Helen for staying so true to their vision for DPW and for the pearls of wisdom and experience. Thanks Marya for the space to grow. I am thrilled to present the diverse work and tremendous progress DPW II members continually show as directors facilitating a group, as artists interpreting another person’s vision, and as choreographers articulating their points of view through movement.

From Donna Costello:

Special thanks to the BAX staff for their endless support of this program. This could not happen without Lucia, Joie and Nadia and the attention they give to every detail, the magic of Emma and Terri and the professionalism they offer to young artists, to the beautiful way Melanie and Fernando make us all look outside of the studio, to Vanessa, Sara and the front desk staff for keeping this place running and of course to Marya for having the vision that this all can happen here at BAX. Finally, thank you to the families for doing all that you do (which is a lot!) to support your young artist. I am so proud of the work that will be presented tonight by DPW I and for all that they are expressing through dance.
